Pierre Cardin became the owner of Rudolf Kämpf vase

Rudolf Kämpf has presented a unique vase to Pierre Cardin in honor of the master’s 87^th  birthday.

There are a few outstanding personalities in the fashion history, which became in their lifetime symbols of wonderful and changeable art called design. Pierre Cardin is one of these personalities. Cardin has made a major contribution to the fashion world, being fashion avant-garde artist and one of the pioneers in unisex style.  World fashion revolutionary, he patented more than 500 items not only in clothes modeling, but also in architecture, design and product advertising. He was the first one, who created men wear collection, patented colour stockings and high boots, mini-sundresses, frivolous “flowered” ties, long jackets without collars and tight trousers with buttons, originally created for “Beetles”.

Pierre Cardin - is the owner of 24 prestige French and international awards. In 1974 he became holder of Legion of Honour, in 1988 – holder of Italian order “For outstanding services” and supreme award of Vatican - “Holy Treasures”. In 1985 Pierre Cardin was the first couturier, who was chosen as a member of French Academy of Fine Arts and became “immortal”- as honorable academicians are called in France.

Porcelain factory Rudolf Kämpf made a memorable present to Pierre Cardin in honor of his 87th birthday, which was celebrated on the 7^thof July, his outstanding merits and inestimable contribution to the world fashion industry.  The present was a unique porcelain vase from “Designers” collection, which was made by Rudolf Kämpf just in one piece.
