The color palette of this tea set includes the favorite colors of Moroccan architecture, i.e. white and cobalt blue.
In the centre of the tea-pot and sugar bowl on the both sides there are oval medallions featuring the famous Hassan II Mosque and the Great Mosque.
Hassan II Mosque was erected on the Atlantic coast in the Moroccan city of Casablanca and was open for worshippers in 1993. It is already called one of the wonders of modern architecture. This mosque is the second largest in the world and is the world's tallest religious building. Its minaret is 210 meters (689 ft) high, and it is higher than Cheops Pyramid by 30 meters and by 40 meters higher than St. Peter's Cathedral. At nights, spotlights shine from the top of the minaret toward Mecca.
The mosque is remarkable for the mosque is remarkable for the complete mastery of its décor and the variety of ornamental motifs that had imbibed the cultural traditions of several centuries. Neither general view nor architectural composition of the court or fountains arrangement reflect the traditional mosque design: everything meets the modern requirements.

The Great Mosque built in 1163 was the first one of the Almohad building style named after the Almohad dynasty of North Africa. Its spacious prayer hall is divided by five rows of columns into nine naves; the court in front of the prayer hall is surrounded by two galleries made by three rows of columns. Three arcs decorated with muqarnas are arranged parallel to Qibla. Those are the first muqarnas in Morocco. The column capitals have a shape unique for that time.
The lavishly used iridescent golden décor of the dark pattern enhances the pageantry of the tea set. Each item is decorated with ornamental Moroccan arabesques, blue against white background. They are harmoniously complemented by one more extremely popular oriental pattern, i.e. the repeated octagon with rounded corners.
This collection is produced in a limited number of copies (500 sets).
