There are medallions with two Moslem shrines that are magnificent monuments of the Medieval Architecture on the tea-pot and sugar bowl, i.e. Cathedral Mosque (Juma Masjid) and The Blue Mosque located in Heart, the home city of legendary poet Ali-Shir Nava'i and that once was the capital of Tamerlane Empire.

Cathedral Mosque (Juma Masjid) was constructed by Hiyas Ad Din, the founder of the Guri Empire in 1200 but was destroyed by Mongols and restored by Timurid princes in the end of the XV century.

The most famous "Blue Mosque", however is located in the north of the country in the city of Mazār-e Sharīf. Its construction began as early as in the XV century. The Mosque is believed to be the site of the tomb of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhhamad. Therefore The Blue Mosque is called the symbol of featured on the local money.

In addition to medallions all the items of this set are decorated with stylized floral ornaments seemed to be copied directly from the ancient glazed tiles that often coated the mosque walls from top to bottom. The color palette of the tea set includes the three colors of state flag, i.e. black, red, and green.

This collection is produced in a limited number of copies (500 sets).
