Ladies and Gentlemen,
I wanted to share my emotions with you all and each of you and to tell you what I have seen and felt with the tips of my fingers. Today my efforts are implemented in this collection of porcelain “Great Islamic Sanctuaries”. I hope my efforts have been rewarded.
This collection shows my understanding and the views of those who helped me to implement my ideas as a tribute paid to the East, its rich traditions of architecture and decor. Porcelain as a material also carrying on ancient traditions seemed the proper media for such implementation.
From my talks with the son of the King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia I was assured that this noble undertaking would be appreciated both by those brought up in the eastern culture, those taking their first steps in approaching it and those who will perhaps take interest in it after seeing this collection.

The porcelain collection “Great Islamic Sanctuaries” is devoted to 10 countries that are the sites of the most revered and famous monuments of Islamic culture. Each porcelain set features ornaments and national decorative elements of a particular country.
In decorating the porcelain sets the premium quality materials were used including 14 carat gold and 999 platinum.
The porcelain set representing each country includes 15 items (6 cups and 6 saucers, milk jug, sugar-bowl and a teapot) provided with inscription certificate with the brief information about the line and number of the item.
Each series is produced in a limited number of copies that enhances its collector value.
Today I only touched the Eastern culture and traditions that inspired me to create this series. I do not know what tomorrow holds but I assure you that this enormous world of culture and national traditions infinite in its variety will put new heart in my creative work and I will be able to surprise you with new ethnic motives implemented in Rudolf Kämpf porcelain.
