Design of this unique tea set was first created in 1995 by the artist Lyutsiya Andreeva-Landerberg. The idea arose after she had visited various monuments and repositories of world cultural heritage.
Antique Medallions pieces are decorated with precious metals (999 matte gold, 24 carats) and with colors, designed exclusively for hand-painting.
To create the impression of antique porcelain a cup and a saucer are painted with a special brush in tinged ivory color and then covered with fine filigree print. For relief of a crock a special embossed billet is made, which is created by applying gold on white crock, and by further accentuation with black gold. Items of the set appear high quality antique porcelain.
Antique Medallions is an extremely time-consuming decor. The set is made by several artists over 4 months. Based on the service production technology, the factory can produce only 4 sets per year. The set has a unique packaging as well - hand-made wooden box, made of American black walnut.
