The first sketches of the collection by Peter Kotera, art director of the manufacture, were created in early 2008.
He approached timeless design of ancient Egyptian culture, which he studied from books. He was attracted by the beautiful metallic Egyptian dishware.
“Egypt” line symbolizes one of the earliest Egyptian symbols. This is the plant, that gave life to all Ancient Egypt – Papyrus. In English translation from Egyptian Papyrus means “Gift of a river”. Nile Cane, that we call Papyrus, is the plant, has been growing along boggy
Nile riverside from old times. In ancient world Papyrus symbolized vitality and nature.Hieroglyphic symbol (as well as the Emblem of Base Egypt) illustrates papyrus scapes growing at the same ground fragment. The sign of papyrus joined to the symbol of cobra meant prosperity and flourishing.

The idea of imitating natural material as metal and recreating it into porcelain succeed, since it brought into life a conceptually new, timeless decoration.
At the beginning of 2009 designers completed “Egypt” collection by interior vases, that should have become essential elements of interior or table decoration.
The basic motif of this decoration came from Egyptian mythology. This is Urey, that represents a highly stylized image of tutelary goddess of Base Egypt – Goddess-Cobra Wadjet. Urey is an Egyptian emblem typified by Egyptian cobra –
Gaya . This emblem was illustrated on Pharaohs head-dresses as the symbol of their power both on earth and heaven. Urey images included in architecture decorations meant a protective sign. Cobras heads serve as elegant and convenient vase ears. Moreover according to Egyptian mythology, an image of cobra in home interior brings happiness and prosperity to the owner.
Earlier RKG created the unique dinner set, so the vase should become the first accessory in Egyptian collection. Such new elements will enable genuine experts and judges of Egyptian culture to design their own unique interiors and turn into real collectors.
The vase is made up in mat gold, silver and platinum decorative variants.
